The lineage of Great Perfection is traced from the Dharmakaya Samantabhadra to the Sambhogakaya Buddha Vajrasattva. Vajrasattva is the sovereign of all the buddha families and mandalas.
Master Prahevajra was a great Buddhist teacher and he was the first human master of Dzogpa Chenpo, the Great Perfection. He remained in absorption for thirty-two years in a grass hut. He received the empowerments and the 6,400,000 verses of the tantras of Dzogpa Chenpo from Vajrasattva in a pure vision. At the end, he dissolved his gross body into a light body.
