A Simple Way to Realize the Nature of Mind
Through observing the mind, its nature can be realized, which is the ultimate goal of a Dharma practitioner. So, why not apply this simple method introduced by Mipham Rinpoche in your daily life?
When we observe our mind, one of the best pith instructions is to use the observation of space as a method.
According to an instruction of Mipham Rinpoche, when we observe our mind, we should know that though it is moving with the arising of thoughts, it is empty at the same time; just like the space is also empty, yet there are forms arising within. That is, observing the mind when thoughts are arising, know it is empty like the space in front of you.
This instruction seems quite easy, but I hope you can bear it in mind.
