New Meditation Guidance on Longchen Nyingtik Ngondro: Bodhichitta In Action—Training in the Six Paramitas
Having received the Bodhisattva vow, we Mahayana practitioners shall start to take the vow into action by practicing the six paramitas. Paramita means beyond, or gone to the other shore. By practicing the paramitas, we will be able to transcend the samsaric sea of suffering and reach the shore of nirvana.
These instructions on the six paramitas contain useful trainings that, even one training only, can help us to gain unimaginable strength to bring others benefits, in addition to resolve many of our daily agonies.
Please click here for instructions on the first three paramitas—from meditation 77 to 82. Khenpo will teach us on the training of generosity, discipline and patience.
